The Kuska mug is a very personal thing, you can carve your own or get one of these and customise it! A Kuska is an original mug / pot for the Sami people of Scandinavia and they are a great piece of kit, legend has it you never wash your Kuska just rinse and go to stay lucky!
Why a Kuska mug? Well here is the thing, metal mugs are terrible, fact! First you burn your lips trying to take a sip of a nice hot brew, you leave your brew for a minute and its stone cold, there is no win! Plastic mugs, well plastic, horrible to use and keep clean and environmentally not so cool.
A Kuska mug is simply a beautiful practical thing, made from the Rubber Tree this is a sustainable item, once the wood is chopped a new tree is planted, new trees use more CO2 to grow than old ones and put more oxygen back. Ok it also keeps your brew warm for longer and won't burn your lips, the 300ml version is a large mug so you get a decent brew, cup of soup or eat a strew from it.
