Why We Built It

For years, every trip started with the same question.

Which sleeping bag do I need this time?

Too warm.

Too cold.

Too bulky.

Too restrictive.

Some nights called for a lightweight bag. Others needed something much warmer. Before long, there were four sleeping bags on the shelf, and somehow the wrong one always seemed to come on the trip.

Sleeping bags solved one problem.

But they created another.

Then one evening, looking at the quilt on the bed at home, something stood out.

It wasn't one quilt.

It was two layers working together.

That simple observation led to a different question.

Why couldn't camping work the same way?

Instead of building another sleeping bag, we set out to build a modular sleeping system.

One that could adapt to changing conditions.

One that gave Adventurers the choice to sleep under a single quilt on warm nights, combine both layers when temperatures dropped, or simply wrap up around the campfire at the end of the day.

That's where the Tundra Quilt began.

One System. Different Conditions.

The Tundra Quilt is made up of two separate quilts that work independently or together.

The Tundra Base is ideal for warmer nights when you want a lightweight, unrestricted sleep.

As the temperature drops, the Tundra Thermo adds an extra insulated layer, creating a warmer sleeping system without needing a completely different bag.

Use one.

Use both.

Choose what suits the adventure.

Instead of owning multiple sleeping bags for different seasons, Tundra gives you one modular system that adapts as conditions change.

Designed This Way

Every detail of the Tundra Quilt has a purpose.

Early prototypes used a fleece lining because it felt warm and familiar. After spending time outdoors, it became clear there was a better solution. The fleece added unnecessary bulk, held onto moisture and odours, and increased the packed size.

So we changed it.

Both quilts now use a soft nylon taffeta inside and out. It feels smooth against the skin, packs smaller, dries faster and works better in changing conditions.

Inside, synthetic hollow fibre insulation was chosen for its warmth, resilience and dependable performance, even in damp conditions.

The stitching has purpose too.

The Tundra Base features a stitched pattern inspired by topographic maps—a quiet nod to exploration and the routes that often lead to the best adventures and a 100GSM fill.

The Tundra Thermo uses a square quilting pattern to help reduce thermal migration and keep insulation evenly distributed across the quilt and has a 200GSM fill

When combined together that's 300GSM.

Both quilts are finished with a fluorine-free DWR treatment to help moisture bead and roll away without relying on fluorinated chemicals.

None of these decisions were made to create a longer feature list.

They were made because they made the product better.

Built for Real Adventures

Adventure looks different for everyone.

One night you might be travelling light on a summer camping trip.

The next could be a cold evening in the mountains, a motorcycle tour across Europe or a weekend away with family.

Tundra adapts to all of them.

The quilts can be layered together for extra warmth, used individually depending on the conditions, or simply wrapped around you while sitting by the fire after the day's adventure is done.

It isn't designed to tell you how to camp.

It's designed to adapt to the way you already do.
