After Jez returned from Italy working at Dainese he was introduced to John through a mutual friend, Martin from Tourque Racing Services. It just so happened they lived less that a kilometre apart and had the same passions of product, motorbikes and outdoors.
After a few sherberts they got chatting about just how terrible tents are for motorcycle touring, they are either coffins with long poles or massive, with long poles or so ultralight they just cannot withstand the rigours of motorcycle travel.
Many tales later and a cerebral shower later (aka brain fart) an idea was born, why don't we make our own! The prototype was sketched out on the kitchen table, contacts were called in manufacturing and the first prototype was on the way! Ok it really was not that easy but you get the gist!)
What can we say, we done something good but it had a long way to go... It didn't fit right, the materials were wrong and a few other bits but hey its a prototype!
