After spending time outdoors, it became clear there was a better solution. The fleece added unnecessary bulk, held onto moisture and odours, and increased the packed size.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSo we changed it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBoth quilts now use a soft nylon taffeta inside and out. Given the thermo trap when both quilts are connected it is easily comparable to a '3 season' bag.
